The following checklist will help you get an idea of what you need to think of for your kitchen remodel. As a designer I can help you with all these considerations.

A typical kitchen remodel (not redecorate) takes about 8 to 12 weeks, depending on complexity. New cabinet orders generally take 6-8 weeks for delivery.

This checklist includes the most common elements of a kitchen remodel. If you think about these elements in advance, your designer and/or contractor will be able to design and quote your project within your budget and give you a realistic timeline for your project. Fill out as much information as you can. Your designer and contractor will help you with the rest.

Start a file with photos, magazine clippings and ideas that you like as you come across them. Take this checklist shopping with you. Share these with your designer and contractor.
